Elizabeth has shared her story at fundraising/NFP events, including Susan G. Komen, American Cancer Society, Imerman Angels, 3-Day Walk and Gilda’s Club. Elizabeth has helped raise nearly $1M for organizations providing support for those affected by Cancer since her diagnosis. One of the “side-effects” of traditional chemotherapy is infertility. While this was a personal loss, Elizabeth found fulfillment by serving as a mentor/supporter for under-privileged children, whom she fondly refers to as “mi familia that came into my life in the most beautiful and unexpected way.”
